Steven Gentoso brings a wealth of experience in various legal disciplines, including intellectual property matters, business transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, real estate and construction transactions, government contracting, dispute resolution and trusts and estates. His prior experience as general counsel for a New York City based construction management firm enables him to provide comprehensive legal guidance across all these areas, ensuring clients navigate their transactions and legal matters with confidence.
Mr. Gentoso also has experience in trusts and estates work, helping clients with estate planning and trust administration, ensuring that clients’ assets are protected and their wishes are clearly documented and executed.
Mr. Gentoso's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering with a business minor from Villanova University, obtained in 2010. He furthered his legal education at St. John's University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2017.
He is admitted to practice law in New York, the District of Columbia, and Maryland, as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Before transitioning to the legal field, Mr. Gentoso worked for Schlumberger in the Middle East, specializing in directional drilling. During his tenure, he operated highly sophisticated technologies in the oilfield industry, gaining valuable technical and operational expertise. Mr. Gentoso then returned to the U.S. to work on several high-profile construction projects in New York City. His notable contributions include the World Trade Center - Tower 1, the World Trade Center - Transportation Hub, and 565 Broome SoHo.
