This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the privacy practices applicable to Whitestone Law, PLLC (“we” or “our” or “us” or the “firm”), including our website at whitestone.law. The Policy explains how personal information about you may be collected, used, and disclosed by us. The Policy also explains the rights and choices certain individuals may have regarding their own personal information that is subject to this Policy. If we have entered into other privacy or data related agreements with you or your company and there is a conflict between the Policy and those other agreements, those other agreements will control.

Whitestone Law PLLC respects the privacy of its personnel, clients, and alumni, as well as law students and candidates for employment. Whitestone Law does not collect any personal data from visitors to its website that is not voluntarily provided (Personal Information). If provided voluntarily, Whitestone Law collects and processes certain personal information for the firm’s educational, networking, marketing, social, recruiting, and similar business purposes.
Such personal information that is voluntarily submitted to Whitestone Law is not shared with entities outside of Whitestone Law other than appropriate service providers who assist the Firm in carrying out its business functions. Such personal information is not sold or transferred outside the control of Whitestone Law, its affiliates, or successors.
In general, Whitestone Law provides individuals with the right to opt-out of receiving marketing and other discretionary communications, and to update, supplement, or request the deletion of their own voluntarily submitted personal information which Whitestone Law uses for the previously noted business purposes.
Whitestone Law provides appropriate and reasonable physical, procedural, and electronic information security measures to protect such personal information that is submitted to the Firm.
Personal information that is voluntarily submitted to Whitestone Law online, via electronic communication, or otherwise, may be maintained or accessed in servers or files located in the United States, which the European Union has not deemed to provide “adequate” privacy protection. If you do not consent to having your information processed and stored in the United States, please do not provide it to Whitestone Law.
We reserve the right to revise this Policy at any time. Please review this Policy periodically for changes and at any time you provide information to us. We will post any revised versions of the Policy on the Sites. We will also notify you if we make material changes to the Policy by posting a notice on the Sites or contacting you by other methods. By continuing to access or use the Site and our services after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the terms of the revised Policy.
